Ron Paul 4th Quarter Fundraising

I’m looking forward to seeing the fundraising totals for all the 2008 presidential candidates for the 4th quarter 2007. On this last day of the quarter, Ron Paul has topped $19 million and could possibly top $20 million by the end of the day. That’s almost 4 times what his campaign raised in the 4th quarter.

To put that in perspective, it is also more than any of the other candidates raised in the 3rd quarter with the exception of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who raised about $28 million and $21 million respectively.

According to Red Pills, Clinton transfered $10 million from her 2006 Senate race to her presidential campaign, however. That means she actually raised only about $18 million. Romney brought in $16 million but $6 million of that was a loan.

I want to see how the other candidates did in the 4th quarter because Paul’s fundraising has increased–exploded is more like it–every quarter. (See graph here.)
