Today is the longest day of the year. Now we begin the long, slow descent into the pit of darkness called the winter solstice.
I guess the good news is that it’s also the first day of summer and I hope that the weather gods get the message. It’s time for some warm, sunny days that come in stretches of more than two.
We’ve got to get three nice months of weather in before it starts to get really dark.
Let’s see. What sunny location shall I escape to this winter?
