More Outages at Dreamhost
If you’ve had trouble getting through to my site, it’s because Dreamhost is having problems again.
Of course, the problem is that they’ve never fixed the problems they have always had, which are apparently related to their management.
Last week the site was so slow that it would take up to three minutes for me to get a response when trying to edit a post. The front page and the store were both very slow. The night before last there was an outage for more than four hours and I see from my site monitor that it was recently down for another 90 minutes.
I’m going to have to move the site elsewhere, but with all the other chores I have to do, I just haven’t wanted to go through that, nor do I want to pay for another host when I’ve already paid for a year at Dreamhost, which was a big mistake.
